After graduating from Dana College with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design and Journalism, I headed out to start my career in advertising. For about nine months, I worked as a designer for the Omaha World Herald, kicking out multiple ads a day for various clients under strict deadlines.

But I still yearned to work for a true advertising agency. This yearning was fulfilled when I took a job as a graphic designer at Swanson Russell, a nationally recognized, full-service marketing communications firm. During my tenure there, I worked my way up to Art Director, building brands for clients such as USC University Hospital, Merck, Alegent Health and Sergeant’s Pet Care Products. Along the way, I became a member of the very target audience I was designing for: a mother of two.
Recently my days were spent as a Senior Art Director at Bozell. The brands I created for range from beers to cars to kids (maybe not in that order).
I’m a runner, cyclist, photographer, Star Wars nerd and mother of two amazingly curious (and curiously amazing) kids. I’ve even been known to write a witty headline or two. But most of all, whether at work or at home, I’m a problem solver.
